My theme for today’s Minute with Marschall is Wellness, and why not? It is the beginning of summer, and for so many of you, you are looking forward to, or perhaps even beginning, your vacation.
During this time, I want to encourage you to find some extra time to grab a few extra moments for your own personal well-being. No matter what you do, whether you go away, have a staycation, or spend time with friends or family, find some opportunities for our own personal “down time” to relax and reflect.
In our hectic healthcare world where we do such a wonderful job of caring for others, we have to remember to also care for ourselves.
Even when you are at work it is important to take a moment between work tasks to regroup and pause for well-being. Do you take a few moments to stretch? Call a friend or visit a co-worker? Step outside for a short walk or some fresh air? Or just take a moment to look over your schedule and plan ahead for your next meeting or patient? Find out what works best for you.
We have many wellness options available to help you. Please reach out to any of the resources listed below if you need support.
